A News-worthy Proposal

With Valentine’s Day less than 24 hours away, we thought it appropriate to share this “hot off the press” proposal story with you …

Every Sunday, Marty Smith and his longtime girlfriend Teresa Bright (who just happens to work at Bon-Ton as a fragrance associate) have a tradition of reading their local newspaper, the York Sunday News, together. But this past Sunday had a twist: Marty suggested Teresa turn right to the paper’s Living section. When she did, she was greeted by a full page marriage proposal that Marty had placed. Marty quickly presented the ring and asked Teresa to marry him. Her answer? YES!
